This week we are really excited to share our new series of recipes! Every Friday we will post one of our favorite paleo/gut-healthy recipes. If you like quick, easy meals that save well for meal prep make sure you check back on here every Friday! This week we are sharing one of our favorite smoothies to heal your gut.
This smoothie is packed with fiber, fruits, and veggies! When it comes to healing your gut you want a fiber-packed diet and that can be hard to do at times when you’re trying to avoid processed food. Or at least in my experience. So I’ve found smoothies to be a great way to get in all my fiber and some of my veggies for the day.
I notice I’m less bloated, have more energy, reduced inflammation, and all around feel better when I start my day with a smoothie – I know that sounds cliche but it’s true. If I would have heard I was a smoothie girl a few years ago I would have laughed in your face. But the way I feel and the crazy amount of energy I have now eating clean is priceless.
I know it can be hard at first when changing your diet or even just incorporating more fruits and veggies into your diet. I kept that in mind when choosing what smoothie recipe I was going to share this week. This is a smoothie that doesn’t taste like it’s packed with vegetables even though it is and it’s quick and easy. Perfect for a busy morning!

I bought these big ice cube trays – you can click on the photo and you will be redirected to Amazon. I just drop 2 of the big cubes into a glass and either let them melt or defrost in the microwave if I’m running short on time. Fresh smoothies like anything taste the best to me. But nothing beats a 2 minute already prepped smoothie that will fuel me on a busy day. I recommend at least giving it a try. It’s a nice trick to keep in my back pocket for busy mornings!
